Warsaw, 30 May 2025 – We are proud to share that Irena Pichola, CEO of Artha Consulting Network, has been honoured with the prestigious “Sustainability Personality of the Year” award. The recognition was presented by the Executive Club Jury during the annual “Sustainable Development Diamonds” Gala, which celebrates individuals and organisations leading the way in sustainable transformation.
This award is a powerful acknowledgment of Irena’s long-standing dedication to sustainability and responsible leadership. It comes in a year of profound change and new beginnings – both personal and professional.
“It is a deeply personal award, received in a year that has marked a significant professional turning point,” Irena said “After 25 years in top-tier consulting – at PwC and Deloitte – where I had the privilege of building and leading some of the most impactful sustainability teams, I’ve entered a new chapter of reflection and purpose-driven engagement.”
That new chapter is Artha Consulting Network – a company Irena founded to guide businesses through sustainable transformation, with clarity, ambition, and meaning. Through a growing community of experts, Artha supports leaders and organisations in designing strategic ESG pathways and embedding sustainability at the core of business.
But 2025 brought more than one turning point. Earlier this year, Irena took on the role of President of the Management Board at Forum Odpowiedzialnego Biznesu, Poland’s leading ESG and sustainability think-tank – in its symbolic 25th anniversary year. She has also continued her leadership within Chapter Zero Poland, empowering supervisory boards and executives to respond to climate-related risks and opportunities with informed, accountable decision-making.
These milestones reflect not only Irena’s deep commitment to sustainability but also her ability to lead across sectors, scales, and institutions. The Executive Club’s Jury recognised this unique combination of system-level impact, strategic foresight, and human-centred approach – values that are now at the heart of Artha’s work.
