Deep Roots, New Momentum: Celebrating Artha’s Anniversary
Artha is celebrating its birthday – but this milestone is about far more than just the passing of 12 months. It marks a year of intensive, high-impact collaboration as a unified network, built upon a foundation of decades of collective, top-tier expertise.
When Irena Pichola made the strategic decision to transition from over two decades in large global consulting organizations to launch Artha Consulting Network, the vision was clear: to create an agile, values-driven ecosystem of senior professionals who had already shaped the sustainability landscape in Poland and internationally.
We didn’t start from scratch; we brought together a team that has already spent decades sitting on all sides of the table – as regulators, corporate managers, financial analysts, and seasoned advisors. This year was the catalyst that fused these decades of individual experience into a powerful market force.
A year that felt like a decade
The past months have shown what happens when values meet practical experience. We have just closed an incredibly intense period – packed with projects won, large-scale training programs, report launches, and key debates.
We have supported clients across a wide range of industries in their transition – from financial institutions and insurance, through retail, e-commerce, and facility services, to real estate, hospitality, media, pharma, and energy.
To review this chapter and plan our next steps, the entire Artha team recently met for a strategic getaway. We combined our celebrations with workshops focused on what lies ahead:
• AI & sustainability consulting: An inspiring session led by Gary Sharkey exploring how artificial intelligence is transforming the landscape of sustainability workflows.
• Decarbonisation: Our in-house experts from Artha led a session bringing the entire team up to speed on the most pressing decarbonisation challenges that the economy faces today: from sectoral transition pathways and carbon pricing mechanisms to the evolving regulatory landscape and the practical hurdles companies face on the road to net zero. This knowledge-sharing session ensured that every member of our network speaks the same language when it comes to climate transition, no matter their area of specialisation.
• The future of consulting & scenario planning: An intensive framework session delivered by Karolina Daszyńska-Żygadło. Analyzing critical external drivers – from shifting environmental regulations to macroeconomic pressures – we mapped out four distinct market scenarios for the decade ahead.
No matter which path the market takes or how the regulatory landscape shifts, this strategic preparation ensures we are fully equipped to guide our clients safely through the complex climate transition.
